The academic body of the IIBM is composed of a group of scientists and professors, both Chilean and foreign, dedicated to cutting edge research in the areas of brain-computer interface, biomedical imaging, biofilms, quantitative physiology, protein engineering, biophysics and computational biology, synthetic biology, biomechanics and medical devices.
