Prepared by Stanford University using data from Elsevier and its Scopus database, this list brings together academics whose work has had an outstanding impact in their respective areas. <\/p>\n<p>In its seventh edition, the ranking included 48 Catholic University academics, highlighting 30 for their impact during the last year (2024) and 36 for their academic trajectory. Of these, 18 are included in both categories. <\/p>\n<p>Among those selected are Ren\u00e9 Botnar and Claudia Prieto, who have developed lines of research of high international impact in areas such as medical image processing, cardiovascular magnetic resonance, artificial intelligence applied to health and new biomedical technologies.
