Comenz\u00f3 con los primeros instrumentos de Hooke y Leeuwenhoek, mutando a los microscopios que hoy existen en el comercio, los que permiten manipular con gran precisi\u00f3n tipos de muestras, ofreciendo adem\u00e1s alta resoluci\u00f3n en las im\u00e1genes, en dos y tres dimensiones.<\/p>\n<p>Claro que, este avance a\u00fan no es accesible para toda la comunidad cient\u00edfica y acad\u00e9mica; falt\u00e1ndole incluso flexibilidad para adaptarse a nuevas metodolog\u00edas de experimentaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Aqu\u00ed la tecnolog\u00eda es clave, acercando estos beneficios algunas veces muy lejanos. Por ejemplo, gracias a la impresi\u00f3n 3D y la electr\u00f3nica abierta, existen opciones de instrumentaci\u00f3n cient\u00edfica conocidas como \u201copen science hardware\u201d, orientadas a enfrentar estas limitaciones t\u00e9cnicas y de distribuci\u00f3n de la bioinstrumentaci\u00f3n patentada.<\/p>\n<p>No se trata de una simple \u201ccopia\u201d, ya que incluso ofrece el mismo o mejor desempe\u00f1o de lo existente hoy en el mercado.<\/p>\n<p>De hecho una de las caracter\u00edsticas de esta instrumentaci\u00f3n, es la disponibilidad p\u00fablica de la documentaci\u00f3n t\u00e9cnica para su estudio, fabricaci\u00f3n, modificaci\u00f3n, distribuci\u00f3n y venta por parte de desarrolladores o usuarios finales.<\/p>\n<p>Uno de ellos es el microscopio OpenFlexure, usado en laboratorios y fabricado con impresi\u00f3n 3D, el que podr\u00e1 conocer en profundidad en el primer workshop de LIBRE hub, del Instituto de Ingenier\u00eda Biol\u00f3gica y M\u00e9dica de la Pontifica Universidad Cat\u00f3lica de Chile, junto a Chan Zuckerberg Initiative.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>\u201cMicroscopio OpenFlexure: Desarrollo y aplicaciones\u201d<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>El taller de LIBRE hub, que se realizar\u00e1 de manera presencial el 22 y 23 de noviembre en el Campus San Joaqu\u00edn, de la Pontifica Universidad Cat\u00f3lica de Chile, est\u00e1 dirigido a investigadores y estudiantes postgrado interesados en el campo de bioim\u00e1genes, especialmente en microscop\u00eda.<\/p>\n<p>En \u00e9l ser\u00e1n dirigidos por\u00a0Tobias Wenzel,\u00a0Vicente Parot\u00a0y\u00a0Pierre Padilla Huamantinco, para aprender a construir y usar nuevas herramientas como parte de sus investigaciones, particularmente en el escaneo de l\u00e1minas de microscop\u00eda.<\/p>\n<p>En este sentido, OpenFlexure, tiene un dise\u00f1o que permite el posicionamiento altamente preciso de muestras, entregando diferentes componentes \u00f3pticos para la visualizaci\u00f3n de espec\u00edmenes bajo luz artificial o fluorescente.<\/p>\n<p>Es una potente herramienta, construida en m\u00e1s de 40 pa\u00edses y aplicada en educaci\u00f3n e investigaci\u00f3n de diferentes \u00e1reas de Biolog\u00eda y Medicina.<\/p>\n<p>Aqu\u00ed lo importante, es que en el taller LIBRE hub los participantes aprender\u00e1n los principios de la \u00f3ptica y mec\u00e1nica, aplicados al dise\u00f1o y fabricaci\u00f3n de microscopios.<\/p>\n<p>Podr\u00e1n construir la versi\u00f3n del miscroscopio OpenFlexure, mientras aprenden los requerimientos t\u00e9cnicos y su funcionamiento.<\/p>\n<p>Finalmente, podr\u00e1n ver en vivo de la fabricaci\u00f3n de piezas con impresi\u00f3n 3D del OpexFlexure, pudiendo los participantes llevarse los microscopios para ser usados en sus respectivos laboratorios y experimentos.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Desarrollo y aplicaciones del microscopio OpenFlexure en 3D El workshop se realizar\u00e1 de manera presencial el 22 y 23 de noviembre en el Campus San Joaqu\u00edn, de la Pontifica Universidad Cat\u00f3lica de Chile.
